John Lennon: Love Is All You Need

I watched this documentary about four days ago. As a fanatic, I liked it & the rare footage, especially of Julian. I don't know if I'd recommend it to people, though. Here's why:

It only touched on about 5 things in the entire 82 minutes. It started off with the fact that Beatlemania was big & wild. It then quickly went into how Beatlemania was for Cynthia. She was John's wife & her story/perspective is awesome, but it was more about her, which was kind of strange & unavoidably limited to the First U.S. Visit. Next thing, it leaps into John's controversial popularity quote. It felt like that one topic was about half of the documentary! After that, it jumps to Yoko & emphasizes how "weird" they were for a good chunk of time. Finally, they mention his death & how it was for Julian & Cynthia.

I enjoyed it very much. I don't mean to insult it at all. However, it was not a very accurate view of his life. It mentioned a few random topics from a few random perspectives & that's it. Someone wanting to know about John's life would be just as lost after seeing this...in my opinion.
